ABOUT ME
My work is inspired by the beautiful paintings of Renaissance artists such as Raphael and Leonardo Da Vinci. In my artistic development, I have studied Fine Arts at the University of Tasmania, majoring in Painting and graduating with honours, and I have studied the techniques of the master painters with Charlie Sheard in Sydney.
My studies with Charlie Sheard helped me to understand the properties and application of the media traditionally involved in oil painting. The background to this page is a detail I painted of Raphael’s 'Sacred Conversation' (Madonna dell'Impannata).
In addition to oil painting, I enjoy working in other media such as drawing, digital imaging and photography, examples of which can be found in these pages.
